Kallik, Brock, Dae Zaya, and Lungdrol make it to Yaifo City and discover that the city has PROBLEMS . Kallik shows off his penchant for persuasion. Dae provides a clear voice of reason. Lungdrol demonstrates aspects of fartbending that until this point were unimaginable. The 'suns out guns out' in Brock is recognized by the 'suns out guns out' in the captain of the guard.

A promise is upheld to the orphans in Yaifo City's farms. After being forced to jump through hoops and do errands just to deliver their message, the heroes are finally granted an audience with Baron Bohi. Brock bathes in a river, Dae Zaya tries to learn something new, Kallik eases tensions, and Lungdrol farts. Again.

A surprise accusation gets Kallik placed under Captain Ra's scrutiny, leading to him being taken in for questioning. Brock, Dae Zaya, and Lungdrol scramble to put a plan together to set the record straight. Kallik comes up with a masterful plot to possibly bring relief to the farmers and people of Yaifo City... but is anyone actually listening?

Kallik, Brock, Lungdrol, and Dae Zaya are shocked by an unexpected betrayal. With no other options available to them, they take flight to escape Yaifo City. Brock is forced to choose between the citizenry or his own safety, Dae Zaya pursues the thing he values most, Kallik finds allies in unexpected places, and Lungdrol surprises everyone. After fleeing into the woods, the party is ambushed by a mysterious figure and Raan's bandits. Kallik is forced to confront his Iron Guard past, Dae Zaya vanishes into the forest, Brock comes face to face with the man who destroyed his village, and Lungdrol finds potential acolytes for the sacred Order of the Broken Wind. Dae Zaya pursues the party's assailant through the trees before stumbling across a mysterious camp. He investigates further and discovers evidence that not everything is as it seems in the woods. Meanwhile, the party follows through on their promise to accompany Raan's forces. Juke challenges Kallik, Brock hears of other survivors from his village, and Lungdrol has a dream. Brock, Kallik, and Lungdrol are reunited with Dae Zaya, who tells them of his investigation. The group comes up with a plan over dinner to save everyone and escape from Oro's clutches. Brock and Dae Zaya bond unexpectedly, Kallik gets burned, and Lungdrol takes a lesson to heart.

A new player is introduced that changes everything.
